I think this draft won't be much beyond 50k, but I have a lot of notes I wrote as I went along saying things like foreshadow this back in chapter two and improve this description. Writing these as I went allowed me to continue with my forward momentum without feeling that I needed to fix things now. The downside is I'll have a lot of work left to do after the first draft, but I'll have a first draft in a short ammount of time while I'm still filled with passion to tell the story. I'm hoping that pays off (but not allowing myself to think about it anymore).

Just a bit over 1,000 a day. Do you see your novel going much over 50k?
