Conga-rats on the 50k, Jay. This year was my first NaNoWriMo, too, and I managed to get the whole thing done ... all 97,000 words of it ... by the end of the month. I *had* to because I wanted to record the podiobook by the end of the year :)

The resulting effort is now available at http://podiobooks.com/title/south-coast ... now ... i wonder if I can make it into an "audiobook" :)

Thanks Kate! Now I need to get back to writing daily so I finish it off (shouldn't be hard, but things seem to have conspired against me so far).
I also have a number of articles that I want to post here about, but I need to organize them a bit better.

:) Awesome. Congratulations.

November was a little hellish for me this year, so my writing (blogging rather so I don't offend short story and book authors) has slowed down. My goal for the next year is to develop material on which I can create coherent articles. Maybe next year I can be part of NaNoWriMo too.
